Ghost in the Shell Manga

Masamune Shirow’s legendary manga went on to become a film that took the anime world by storm in 1995. Originally published in Japanese in 1991, Shirow’s masterpiece was released in English and Japanese in 2002. It is as close to “cinema” as it is possible to get on paper.
Well now Ghost in the Shell Volume 1 has returned. This second edition features the original Japanese size and additional material not published in previous U.S. editions!

Deep into the 21st century, the line between man and machine has been inexorably blurred as humans rely on the enhancement of mechanical implants and robots are upgraded with human tissue. In this rapidly converging landscape, cyborg super-agent Major Motoko Kusanagi is charged to track down the craftiest and most dangerous terrorists and cybercriminals, including "ghost hackers," capable of exploiting the human/machine interface by re-programming human minds to become puppets to carry out their criminal ends. When Major Kusanagi tracks the cybertrail of one such master hacker, the Puppeteer, her quest leads her into a world beyond information and technology where the very nature of consciousness and the human soul are turned upside-down and inside-out.

Trinity Blood Hugue de Watteau Cosplay

The background to Trinity Blood is set in the distant future, a post-apocalyptic world after the destruction brought about by an Armageddon. The war between humans (Terran) and vampires (Methuselah) continues, as a struggle between two factions: the Vatican and the New Human Empire. Yet, amidst the bloodshed and violence, many desire a peaceful co-existence between the two species. However, standing between them and this goal is the Rosenkreuz Orden, a group of vampire extremists who manipulate the two sides and pit them against each other. To combat them, the Vatican special operations group "AX", led by Cardinal Caterina, must use everything they have - even a vampire who preys on the blood of other vampires.

Hugue de Watteau (Codename: Sword Dancer) is an AX Agent. Hugue can easily match an average vampire in a fight, wielding a blade-staff as his weapon. He has artificial limbs that enhance his speed and strength. Hugue was a son of a noble family before he joined the AX. His entire family was mysteriously murdered and he has been trying to track down the culprit to seek vengeance. He has a sister who escaped the slaughter but she's missing currently, presumably taken away by the murderer. The weapon he uses could be considered a Shikomizue. He is shown to be a very independent person, and often leaves AX on a whim in order to track down vampires.

Kai Lucas hires the Bebop crew to find his mischievous doppelganger, but the bounty goes bust and Spike and Jet once again find themselves broke - and hungry. And to add to their woes, Spike ends up mysteriously on the police's most wanted list, either the butt of a joke or the victim of a severe computer glitch. But what's worse, being targeted by every bounty hunter in the solar system, or taking on a kid-genius, a genius puppy and a genus: fatale, species: femme as part of the crew. If Scorpion or the Dragon Head Family doesn't kill them, the extra mouths to feed certainly will.

Burst Angel Opening FMV

A new law has been passed in Tokyo, Ordinary people are allowed to freely carry firearms. Crime has turned citizens against each other in a fight for survival on the city's mean streets. Thanks to the Recent Armed Police of Tokyo, the arrest rate is going down. After all, the only prison a dead man needs is a hole in the ground.
A young man responds to an ad seeking a cook, quite understandably he's a little put out when one of his would-be employers turns out to be a white-haired psychopath, called Jo. She lives in a gigantic tanklike vehicle along with three other girls: aggressive but soft-hearted cowgirl Meg, sneering computer whiz Amy and their more mature and reserved leader, Sei. Together, the four women are an elite bounty-hunting/mercenary team, and given their intrigue-filled lives, it's no wonder they don't have time to cook for themselves. In response to a secret and deadly underground crime ring, our fearless foursome decide its time to take a stand. Someone's got to protect the city... it might as well be them.
