Bishōjo games are largely a Japanese phenomenon; they are uncommon in the American and European video game industries. They form a sizeable fraction of the Japanese market, with the most popular having sold over a million copies, and they make up the majority of offline PC games in Japan. Nevertheless, because of real or perceived cultural differences, few Japanese titles have been translated and no major mass-market release has yet been attempted outside East Asia. In the West, therefore, bishōjo games remain one of the least known of the major video game genres.

Bishōjo games are often also referred to as ren'ai games, dating sims, eroge, and visual novels.

Lineage Dark Elf Garage Kit from Cerberus Project

1/6th scale Garage Kit from Cerberus project Assembly and painting required. See Garage Kits

Dark elves are playable characters from a Korean MMORPG called Lineage. They were once members of the light elves but were banished for practicing dark magic. Lineage elves have opposing qualities and traits:
Light elves use white magic and are quick and agile, but lack offensive strength.
Dark elves practice dark magic, have high offensive capabailities due to superior mental and physical strength, and are nearly as agile as the light elves. However, dark elves suffer from weak defensive abilities, and are more prone to being stunned. As with every class (except Dwarves), the dark elves are separated into two classes: fighter and mystic, opening several avenues of play style. They worship Shillien, the goddess of Death, and are considered malevolent.
