Cain C. Hargreaves is a cursed count with a unique interst, he collects poisons, as his family has done for many generations before him. However his strange obsession has led him to solve crimes a series of crimes in 19th century England, crimes which appears follow him wherever he goes.

As Cain runs into Jezebel Disraeli, Delilah's representative, he comes to learn that the organization was founded by none other than his own father, who until now was beleived to be quite dead.
