Serenity DVD

A passenger with a deadly secret. Six rebels on the run, an assassin in pursuit. When the renegade crew of Serenity agrees to hide a fugitive on their ship, they find themselves in an action-packed battle between the relentless military might of a totalitarian regime who will destroy anything - or anyone - to get the girl back and the bloodthirsty creatures who roam the uncharted areas of space. But, the greatest danger of all may be on their ship. From the mind of Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel) comes a new edge-of-your-seat adventure loaded with explosive battles, gripping special effects and fantastic new worlds!

The TV series "Firefly" was cancelled after just 9 episodes , thankfully fan pressure and extraordinary dvd sales convinced Universal Studios to buy the rights to make a full blown movie called "Serenity". Perhaps continued fan pressure can convince Fox or indeed Universal to start a new series. In the meantime the following links should provide you with enough content to keep the dream alive. Interestingly fireflyseason2.com is doing it's best to drum up interest in a subscriber only season.

ah...finally i can comment with certainty, I have both the DVD and the tv series box set.... I loved it, it had so much potential..... the film gives a cursory overview of the characters, but the series takes time with each one.... they made a huge mistake dropping it, they never gave it a chance.....

your in for a treat, the series would have been a classic, it's built up an extraordinary support on the net, indeed the film might not have been made were it not for the clamouring from fans....
