This I must ask.
Where in the nine hells do you find such grate pictures and wallpapers.
You are like Gnome whit computer software!
My technique must be rusty. Either that or I need to work harder.

And since I am such a SF junky... Thank you, oh thank you.

Thank you Nikolas, humbled i am, in fact it's not such a mystery...

(opens ancient secrets scroll......)

Principally, Japanese wallpaper forums, some of those guys have got collections that make my eyes water...

Intriguing I must say, for I have never been much of a forum kind of guy. Though my art collection is vast, outdated, but nevertheless vast.

indeed as japanese forums go, i am most definitely a professional lurker. Oh to be able to draw.....
sigh!

Since I can sort of draw, and by the way know a couple of artist whose work amazes me so, i have a statement.
If you are willing to learn, and are persistent enough, I humbly suggest looking up some of Loomis books, and perhaps start whit
Loomis - successful drawing

Should you chose to pursue this, my friends and I will be 100% behind you all the way. Need some advice, the best there is is to practise and know how it is done.

Hope this is of use to you friend.

Till next time.

thank you for such support Nikolas, I've promised myself a graphic table someday, though I know I should test out my ability (or lack of it) on paper first, till then it's mostly doodles, but should I ever come up with something that needs a critical eye... I will most assuredly take you up on this kind offer....

Nikolas said...

The offer is here as long as art remains one of my interests and that I deem will be quite a long eon.
And as for ability... Most people start whit an obvious lack of any, and those people by my experience, reaching for the sky, aspire to the greatest of heights.
Got some interesting doodle, please let me see.
Perhaps an Elderly Artwork blog :P

I wish you the best of luck, and hope you succeed. Just remember, practise makes perfect.

most inspirational, fraid at present an elderly artwork blog would look more like the walls in a tubetrain toilet....

Nikolas said...

Mind you there are some pretty talented toilet artist.
The game of lights can be fascinating as well as it can inspire retreat in even the most courageous of men.
You on the other hand have a good taste in art. Might chances have it this is your inspiration, some good must come of it.

Just noticed. Thanks for the link, although the picture just isn't me, so I'll be supplying you whit one shortly.
